The Muppets - my final email for 2020


Hi Good Morning Guys it's me again for the last time in 2020, your friendly neighborhood Anthony Rose.
I am going to tell you three Things today and then I will be on my way.Â
1. I am fucking tired but satisfied.
2. Holiday Hours of operations and good times in the guise of food.

1. I was almost semi retired before this whole thing went down. But not really, very very very few people, an extremely small percentage of, a miniscule amount, the tiniest of fractions, practically absolutely no one retires comfortably as a restauranteur. The overall reaching ideal would be that the restaurants are running well into my old age (rob of course being much older than I). Being run by wonderful people and partners with a vision shared by us all. My restaurants are me and an extension of myself (Rob of course, really the puppet master, pulling all the strings and guiding us to success. Thank God for the Puppet Master). What does semi retirement look like for me? Maybe it's the cottage or Farm 4 days a week and the city 3 days a week. Maybe Rob and I are Gentlemen Farmers (Rob obviously much more Gentleman than I). Maybe I sail off into the Sunset with my yet to be determined Love of my Life (Rob obviously the greatest Love of my Life). To tell you the Honest to God truth I did not have a plan Pre Covid and I certainly do not have a plan now. Coming to terms with that has been liberating and scary but I am ok with that. But I am tired now for the time being, emotionally exhausted and creatively spent. We all are. That being said we have decided to close ALL the restaurants for two plus weeks for a much needed break of action and vacation for all us Muppets. I much prefer Muppets to Puppets. Given my druthers I would be Animal, Beaker being a close second (maybe I could sit next to the Master Muppet Master himself as the two old dudes on the Balcony "Statler and Waldorf").
2. Our Final day of operations will be DECEMBER 23rd. We will all be back at it on January 6th.
Never before have we all as a group taken this much time away from the Restaurants (Well, by design and of our own accord obviously. COVID I am talking to you!). All us Muppets need this dearly (Just so you know I absolutely LOOOOOVEÂ the Muppets and only would ever use the term of myself and by myself (but especially Rob) and others in the greatest of endearing Fashions with all my Heart).Â
Up until our Final days we are open for regular Business as per usual regularly. PLUS YOU WILL NOTICE WE HAVE A NEW MENU HEADING "CHRISTMAS GROCERY WISHLIST"! Here you will find all our special food items ready to reheat or put on a platter or the freezer or outside safely because it is now cold, or to be eaten right away if you cannot wait or saved for later if you can wait. And of course the following for your immediate pleasure bombs of your mouths.

These Combos are just killing me softly. So sweet and delicious I just do not have the words but knowing me I will try anyways. Succulent and Superb, Sexy but Sophisticated, Sopping Sastrami and Surkey Sumptiously. BBQ LAMB SHOULDER - Marinated and Spiced with a not secret at all spice mixture, Smoked with Fruitwood at 275 degrees until an internal Temperature of 165 degrees, wrapped in Parchment Paper and Tin foil and then slow roasted at 300 degrees until an internal temperature of 210 degrees, rested in it's little blanket of love to relax and become dreamy, chopped (not Pulled, I hate Pulled) finished with more spices, served with Roasted sweet Potato, Zaatar Flatbread and dipping Tahini Galore. Just so you know I just gave you a method for making this at home but please order from us anyways. Just Blessed.Â

Obviously needs no introduction as you all love me regardless of what I say and or do (not everyone but I am an Acquired Taste but Delicious nonetheless)! Linda's Famous Brisket 1/2lb of Sexy Slow Roasted Brisket, Onion Jus, Horseradish Mashed Potatoes. Do you even know Linda? My sweet Famous Mom? I make fun constantly because I love her (always) and she loves me (sometimes, but that's normal). The singular greatest cook I know and she has shared with me (not shared with you) the recipe for the most Ridiculously Delicious Brisket of my (so obviously yours) dreams. Do not hesitate.
